1. When is the start date of the challenge?
The official start date of the challenge is January 1st. However, we encourage participants to begin their prep on October 30th. As soon as you sign up, you'll receive the recipes and all necessary materials for the challenge in a comprehensive booklet. You also start receiving daily emails tailored to your start date, allowing you to progress at your own pace over 21 days. For example, if you sign up on January 8th, your 21-day journey begins from that date. Additionally, we offer weekly live Q&A sessions from January 2nd through January 30th. So, even if you sign up later (by the 8th or 9th), you'll still benefit from at least three weeks of live sessions.
2. What platform will the weekly meetings occur on, and do I need to use Facebook?
Our weekly live sessions are hosted on Zoom, and the recordings of these sessions are available in the membership area. While we use Facebook at the basic level for community purposes, it's not mandatory for participating in the challenge. The main content, including the weekly live sessions, is accessible through a membership platform that is not linked to Facebook. So, you can fully participate in the challenge without ever having to use Facebook, as it's just an additional element for those who are interested.
3. When are the weekly live sessions?
For those on the VIP plan, the weekly live sessions are scheduled for January 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th at 2 pm and 7 p.m. ET, hosted via Zoom. Once you purchase the VIP plan and access the membership area, you'll find all the necessary details for these meetings. Notably, on January 9th, we'll be focusing on a special topic: how to fine-tune your recipes to keep costs low. We understand the current concerns about food and gas prices, and during this session, we'll explore new technologies and strategies to make your meal prep more affordable, without compromising on quality or variety.

- Tuesday, February 13th - Topic: Gut Microbiome
- Tuesday, February 20th
- Tuesday, February 27th
All calls will be held at 2 p.m. Eastern Time.
During our live weekly calls, we'll be diving into a variety of important topics to support your journey towards a raw or high-raw vegan lifestyle, especially during these winter months. Here's a glimpse of what we'll discuss:
1. Nutritional Needs:
- Diverse Nutrition: Given the limited local winter produce, we'll explore how to maintain a balanced diet by incorporating a variety of available fruits and vegetables. Discover creative ways to integrate local veggies into your meals.
- Supplements: In a raw vegan diet, especially during winter, certain nutrients like Vitamin B12, Vitamin D, and Omega-3 fatty acids might be less accessible. We'll discuss supplements and how to choose what is right for you.
2. Emotional and Psychological Support:
- Family Meals: Learn how to create dishes that can be shared with your family or adapted for them. For instance, a raw salad for you can easily become a side dish for them.
- Communication: Open and honest communication with your family about your dietary choices is crucial. We'll explore effective ways to explain your reasons and emphasize how important this is to you, while also actively listening to their concerns.
- Coping Strategies: Addressing increased emotional sensitivity may require stress management techniques like meditation, yoga, or counseling.
3. Social Support:
- Community Engagement: Continue connecting with online groups, such as our community. Sharing experiences and seeking advice from others on a similar journey can be immensely beneficial.
- Local Networks: Explore the possibility of finding local vegan or raw food communities in your hometown. These networks can offer valuable support, recipe sharing, and opportunities for socializing.
4. Culinary Exploration:
- Recipe Adaptation: We'll discuss how to adapt recipes to suit your local produce availability, using seasonal ingredients like Brussels sprouts creatively in your meals.
5. Physical Wellbeing:
- Energy Levels: Monitoring your energy levels will be a key focus. We'll explore high-energy foods that can be included to support your vitality.
6. Educational Resources:
- Learning and Growth: We'll encourage you to continue educating yourself about raw veganism through books, documentaries, and reliable online resources. This knowledge will not only empower you but also help in discussions with your family.
